| Somboon 3 & 4 are large, comfortable, well equipped Dive boats. They both have spacious saloon areas with TV, DVD and music system providing the perfect area to take in the tranquility of the Islands. Both have air-conditioned lounges also equipped with TV and DVD. Cabins are of a high standard. Somboon 3 has 2 Double Bed,12 Twin Bed and 2 4-Bunk Cabins ( all Air-conditioned) along with 6 bathrooms all with hot water showers. Somboon 4 has 4 Double and 10 Twin cabins along with 6 bathrooms all equipped with hot water showers. The food served on-board is of a very high standard, a combination of Thai and western style cuisine and snacks are available throughout the day. Large sundecks and spacious, well planned dive decks make these good boats on which to enjoy a few days of quality diving. Somboon 3 remains in The Similan Islands, making trips to Koh Bon (known for frequent sightings of Manta Rays) for 2 dives on Wednesday and Sunday. Somboon 4 makes 3 day / 2 night trips including Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon departing every Tuesday and Saturday. There are transfers to and from Somboon 3 daily by speedboats and to Somboon 4 when in the Similans. The duration of your stay is flexible and can be extended while on-board.. See Schedules and prices for details. Due to their flexibilty, these are popular trips and the boats can be busy from time to time. Transfers can be a little drawn out as the boats are supplied daily by the speedboats and they also take day-trip customers on a daily basis. That said, these are good-value trips and remain very popular. |
